is an outgrowth of Enercon
Industries power supply technology that began in 1974 with SCR designs
for induction heating power supplies for metal heating and forging applications.
That capability grew to cover the range from 5 kW through 3 MegaWatts and
the full range of metals applications including heating, forging, hardening,
and melting. Today, EPSI has a complete line of power supply designs based
upon the latest state-of-the-art power devices such as IGBTs and Mosfets
and edge-of technology control and protection circuits and techniques.
